Senior Data Analyst Job Responsibilities:
 

• 
  

• Responsible for eliciting, understanding, interpreting and representing business requirements for data, analyses, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, and performance.
• Act as the conduit between the customer and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood.
• Works with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Validates that data warehouse meets requirements and service-level agreements.
• Act in an advisory capacity in data model reviews, architecture approach and solution design to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Responsible for partnering with management and business units on innovative ways to successfully utilize data and related tools to advance business objectives.

 
Senior Data Analyst Job Skills Required:
 

• 
  

• 7+ years’ experience working as a BI analyst or data analyst leveraging BI tools in a centralized data warehouse environment.
• 7+ years hands-on experience working with SQL with an understanding of different data structures.
• 3+ years’ experience with data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data cleansing and data conversion activities.
• Experience working with Cognos v.8.x or higher or similar BI tool.    
• Experience working with Teradata Data Warehouse or other RDMS.
