Job Description Job Description Description: The HVAC Service Manager oversees and manages all aspects of our HVAC Service Operations. This role involves managing a team of Service Technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining high service standards, and driving department performance. The role requires strong leadership skills, extensive HVAC technical knowledge, and the ability to deliver exceptional service. Requirements: Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of HVAC field experience , with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role (preferred). Strong technical expertise with water-sourced heat pump systems (required). Solid knowledge of electrical systems , low-voltage wiring, and HVAC controls. Ability to safely climb ladders, access rooftops , and perform physical tasks required in the HVAC trade. EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal preferred). Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to support technicians in complex diagnostics. Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with service management software (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, etc.) is a plus. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience with commercial HVAC systems in addition to residential. Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS). Certification such as NATE or equivalent. Ability to train and mentor technicians of varying experience levels.
